PEDOPHILES DISAPPOINTED AS FBI CRACKS DOWN ON CHILD PROSTITUTES

February 23 2009

Washington, DC – In a sweeping crackdown the FBI, in co-operation with local police across the country, have arrested 571 people and rescued 48 teenage prostitutes in an initiative nicknamed ‘Operation Cross Country’. While many are applauding the efforts by the Bureau, pedophiles and pimp networks across the country are crying foul. Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver

“Some of these networks of pimps and their organizations are very sophisticated, they're interstate,” said FBI Deputy Assistant Director Daniel Roberts. “The vast majority of these kids are what they term 'throwaway kids,' with no family support, no friends. They're kids that nobody wants, they're loners. Many are runaways.”

Of course pimps and pedophiles have worked for decades to build up a country wide network that has been steadily eroded since the start of ‘Operation Cross Country’ began in 2003. Many on the inside feel that not only are their rights being trampled on, but their livelihood is being threatened, something particularly dire in the current economy.

“While you can make your own moral decisions about prostitution and child prostitution in particular, the reality is it’s big business and the way things are going the last thing the government should be doing is restricting employment,” said Scrape TV Business analyst Ken
Bishop Don Juan Green. “There are a lot of dollars floating around in prostitution, there always has been and as things get worse and worse demand for that particular business is only going to increase. Sex, drugs, and booze are the businesses to be in as the economy continues to tank and they are attacking one of those industries and risking outing these people on the welfare line which does no one any good.”

Prostitution is widely considered to be the world’s oldest profession but is frowned upon in most circles. Child prostitution in particular is particularly vilified in society at large, principally because of the perception of exploitation. While many agree that children shouldn’t be exploited for sexual purposes, others argue that fighting organized pedophilia will only result in recreational abuse.prostitutes

“If someone is looking to have sex with a 12 year old they are going to have sex with a 12 year old. When access to that type of thing is readily available they will go the easiest route but pulling these children off the streets will not suddenly cure them of their desires, it will only encourage them to act out in different directions,” said Ruth Himmel of the Family Action Committee. “The girls that are in the business act as proxies. They take on a number of clients who now will seek to satisfy their desires on their own. Say a 12 year old has sex with 500 unique men a year. Once she is gone they will go out and rape or molest 500 other children so instead of one sad story we have 500. The history of prohibition is nothing but failure and this is likely to end up the same way.”

There is no firm data on the number of pedophiles in the United States. That is thought to be the result of familial sexual exploitation that is by its nature ‘off the books’.prostitute

“We believe this is an attempt to draw tax dollars from our clients. These sweeps do no significant damage to our infrastructure because so few people are actually taken into custody but it does make our clients scared. We believe that this is an attempt by the government to use the pimp hand against our constituents and we will not stand for it,” said Bishop Don Francisco, spokesperson for the Adult Workers Union of Maryland. “They want to extract dollars from our business, they want us to pay protection money but what it’s going to do is just drive a lot of us out of the business all together. We provide a service, one that we provide to most of the people who make up these laws, and their heavy handed techniques are going to put us all in the poor house, or at least looking for other jobs.”prostitute

One of the jobs that is apparently available is that of Government Project Namer, a group of positions that were largely eliminated under the Bush government.

“‘Operation Cross Country’ is about as bad a name as you can get really. By cutting down that department the Bush administration did no one any favours. In the heyday of secret government operations they had names like ‘Agent Orange’ and ‘Acoustic Kitty,” said Scrape TV Historical analyst Lars Luger. “They seem to have lost all desire for cool and expressive code names. Pimps have traditionally come up with great names and they might be perfect for that kind of position. Of course that won’t solve the child prostitution issue in any way, but at least we’ll have cool catchphrases to throw around.”
