ALL CARS TO BE FERRARIS AFTER COMPANY DEVELOPS MIND CONTROL TECHNOLOGY
January 10 2011
Maranello, Italy – For century’s people have lusted after, and claimed to possess, the ability to read and control other people’s minds. While it is impossible to trace the beginnings of those desires, the rationale for such wants is quite obvious. Whether it
is determining what an enemy might be planning, or trying to get someone to do exactly what you want them to do, the power of being able to directly influence someone else’s mind would be a profoundly powerful tool.
Such things have never been accomplished in reality. True, cults and governments have successfully brainwashed people, making them do what they want and other people often fall victim to the cult of personality, but those events are not true mind control, not at least the dream of such abilities. While many hope that it is possible that such power does reside inside the human mind, and certainly everyone has experienced events that would seem to confirm such latent abilities, nothing approaching true mind control has ever been achieved by human beings. Like everything we do though, the human mind is capable of abstract thinking and of creating machines that aid us in advancing our experience, and now one company, car manufacturer Ferrari, seems to have created a machine capable of not only reading but also manipulating the human mind and free will.
“Drivers tend to miscalculate--in particular, overestimate--their driving skill and, more importantly, their psychophysical condition, with the result that driver-selected dynamic vehicle performance simply reflects the driver’s wish, as opposed to the driver’s actual psychophysical condition and proficiency,” read the company’s patent application in part. “The dynamic performance may be modified to enhance driving safety in the case of a tired or unresponsive driver, and also to enhance driving pleasure and/or performance in the case of an alert, responsive driver.”
While such automated driving techniques have long been a dream, the actualization of that technology has put the company firmly in the driver’s seat for the future of car driving.
“Car driving is inherently dangerous and though we have made huge improvements in
safety technologies and standards throughout the years, there is always going to be a certain risk. The biggest part of that, and the cause of the vast majority of accidents, is the operators themselves. Human error and human failings are the root cause of the vast majority of car accidents and mind control could change that,” said Scrape TV Automobile analyst Melissa Canning. “By utilizing the basic elements of human ability and human talents we can bypass things like distractions and emotional state. Basically the driver would become a tool through which the vehicle is operated and the personal state of the individual is bypassed completely. That could make accidents pretty much a thing of the past. They would still happen on occasion, but the vast majority of them would be eliminated.”
It’s not clear in what models the new mind-control technology will be installed.
“The other advantage that all this brings is that it could easily make every car a Ferrari.
Basically, the choice of what car to drive would be eliminated entirely and every car on the road would be a Ferrari. It’s unlikely that they would reduce the prices which mean a lot of people will be walking, but for those who can afford the cars, it will mean open roads,” continued Canning. “I mean it’s possible they will allow some other cars to be purchased, and once sales for other vehicles plummet the company could snap them up, but I think it’s likely that we are looking at a Ferrari future for the vast majority of the world.”
Enzo Ferrari, who died in 1988, was reportedly long a fan of telling people what to do.
