IF HE WAS STILL ALIVE MICHAEL JACKSON WOULD PROBABLY KILL RANDY JACKSON
May 9 2012
Los Angeles, CA – Disputes amongst family members are common even amongst the very famous. For famous families, one of the biggest of which most certainly was the Jacksons, there was certainly a lot to dispute and certainly that happened quite a lot over the years.
Now though, new details of just how dire those disputes had become are starting to emerge. While normally disagreements between siblings result in long periods of silence and the occasional argument, it appears that like everything, the Jackson family argued on a much higher level.
Specifically, a former bodyguard for Michael Jackson has claimed that the singer ordered members of his inner circle to kill his brother Randy, the eldest of the many Jackson children, in an ongoing dispute over money and an insistence that the King of Pop tour with his brothers again. While clearly Randy did not end up dead, the story certainly lends credence to the generally accepted notion that the Jackson brothers outside Michael were kind of useless and really just a thorn in everyone’s side that could be easily plucked out and thrown away.
“Things reached a head when Randy was trying to force his way past the bodyguards to speak to him in one of his rented homes. Michael ordered him to be shot” said Matt Fiddes. “Randy was so scared he got on the phone and threatened to call the Press. He told the bodyguards, 'If you shoot me the whole world will know about it.”
It’s not clear how much of the world would actually care about Randy Jackson’s death, though clearly he believed that many would.
Jackson has denied ever saying such things and that his brother had never ordered his murder, though it’s not clear if the two ever really spoke.
“It was clear for a long time that Michael Jackson was a little off, perhaps even a lot off, but getting to the point of ordering a murder and of a sibling, well, that’s just crazy off. I mean in the end no one would really miss Randy Jackson, obviously, but he is still technically a human being and that has power and value in the minds of many people,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “I’m sure more than a few people would be upset just at the notion that a human being had been killed and that would have been enough to cause a stir. Most would leave it alone when they realized who had been killed, to be sure, but it still would have been problematic for Michael, at least for a little while.”
It’s not clear if Michael wanted to kill any of his other siblings but it’s reasonable to assume so.
“I mean in the big picture if Michael really didn’t want to do the tour he could have just said no. Killing Randy wasn’t necessary and likely wouldn’t have stopped it anyways. There are always enough Jackson’s to fill out the roster and one or two dying isn’t going to stop anything, unless of course it’s Michael, which is what happened,” continued Temple. “I mean he was the key to this whole thing really and without him the whole project was dead, deader that Randy would have been and deader than Michael is right now. Randy is still alive though and that is great for him, probably, but does nothing for anyone else really.”
Randy Jackson reportedly plans on living for a few years longer.
