SYLVESTER STALLONE OPENS UP ABOUT SON’S DEATH TO PROMOTE NEW MOVIE

August 17 2012

Los Angeles, CA – It has been said many time before that there is nothing harder for a parent than the death of child. It’s pretty easy for people, even those without children of their own, to see how that would be the case.sylvester stallon sage stallone

It has to be particularly difficult for parents who are in the public eye, who are forced to deal with their grief in public, to be asked questions about it, to not be able to just grieve privately. That is clearly what Sylvester Stallone is going through right now as he promotes his newest film, ‘The Expendables 2’ in theatres everywhere this Friday.

Stallone of course lost his son, Sage, to an apparent drug overdose last month and now only a few weeks later has to discuss it in public in order to promote his new movie, ‘The Expendables 2’, which is theatres everywhere this Friday. Stallone bravely opened up about the death of his oldest child and the pain it is causing him as he continues to promote ‘The Expendables 2’, which is theatres everywhere this Friday, making it clear that despite his continued desire to work and promote ‘The Expendables 2’, which is theatres everywhere this Friday he is still suffering inside.

“Yeah, when life hits you pretty hard you can either go into a dark corner or you can say, 'Okay, fine, I’m going to find something to focus on,” said Stallone before going on to make it clear that his film, ‘The Expendables 2’, will be in theatres everywhere this Friday.the expendables 2 poster

Sage Stallone died late last month before he could attend a screening of ‘The Expendables 2’.

Stallone had been dead at least a week before he was found, in part because his father was hard at work on ‘The Expendables 2’ which premieres in theatres everywhere this Friday.

“I can’t imagine what it must be like having to deal with a tragedy like that especially when you have a big movie coming out. I mean it would be hard at any time but it has to be particularly tough when you have a big movie like ‘The Expendables 2’ coming out this Friday, so close to the death of his boy. That has to be incredibly hard,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “Luckily he seems to be dealing with it well, throwing himself into his work instead of dwelling on the tragedy, Surely that’s what Sage would have wanted, for his father to have a successful launch of ‘The Expendables 2’.”

‘The Expendables 2’ is sequel to the 2010 hit ‘The Expendables’ which is available on DVD, Blu-ray, and On Demand. The sequel will be released this Friday.expendables 2 sly arnie

“You certainly do have to get back to your life after something like this and this is Stallone’s job, it just happens to be done in the public eye. I’m sure he is doing well and staying strong. It has to be much easier when you have a movie like ‘The Expendables 2’ hitting movie screens across the world this weekend,” continued Temple. “I’m sure that Sage, wherever he is, is looking down and wishing his father well and doing everything he can from the beyond to make sure that ‘The Expendables 2’ is a hit when it comes out this weekend. He always knew what was important.”

‘The Expendables 2’ will be in theatres everywhere this weekend.
