MILEY CYRUS TO PRODUCE POLE DANCING VIDEO

Los Angeles, CA – In recent years ‘Hanna Montana’ star Miley Cyrus has made herself a lightning rod for criticism. From a partially clad photo shoot to leaked cell phone shots to accusations of racism, Cyrus has in many critics’ minds been a less
than perfect role model for many of her young fans. Despite that her popularity has only continued and as she grows closer to becoming an adult likely too will the controversies that surround her.

With past controversies likely still fresh in her mind, Cyrus gave a steamy performance at the 2010 Teen choice awards. With hot pants and a stripper pole, Cyrus strutted around the stage gyrating and hip thrusting. Though critics have already pounced on the singer fans have met Cyrus’ performance with the expected enthusiasm. Now new information has begun to circulate that the performance was less a natural and artistic presentation of her latest single and more of an orchestrated marketing attempt. At the heart of the marketing push is a new video being aimed at her pre-teen audience, one that gives pointers on how to properly navigate a stripper pole.

“In recent years the stripper pole has become more and more acceptable in modern society. Personal trainers have often employed them as one of the best all around exercises that a person can engage in and that has really started to catch on not only amongst entertainers but also with the general public. From what I’ve heard Cyrus uses a pole in order to stay in shape and she wants to spread the good word to her fans,” said an insider who preferred to remain anonymous. “It really is about exercise and they feel that as the country continues to struggle with the obesity epidemic anything they can do to help would be a benefit. Considering how healthy using a pole can be it really makes perfect sense. Now young girls of all ages will grow up healthier and with have a unique skill that many of their parents just didn’t have access to.”

Stripper poles are generally used in strip clubs with nude and partially nude women gyrating around them provocatively. Though many strippers do stay in good shape the principle design of the stripper pole has never been about keeping in shape.

“Of course there will be a lot of people who question the health benefits of pole dancing and even more who would be a little uncomfortable with the idea of their eight-year olds acting like strippers but if they do it right they could be stepping up those girls for a much healthier and happier future. Very few generations have grown up with a major role model displaying the importance of exercise,” said Scrape TV Health analyst Rebecca Phelps. “Obesity in the United States is a major issue and much of begins in childhood. Bad habits as children become bad habits as adults and that leads to serious problems. As those habits become worse they are amplified in adults and in the case of health can become very serious.”

Aside from personal health issues the burden on the struggling U.S. health care has been growing alongside the waistlines, something no doubt on the mind of Cyrus.

“People tend to assume that because a person is wealthy they have little or no stake in the problems that burden regular people. The truth is they have family members who are not in show business and very well may be in financial dire straits and that could bring a sense of reality to the situation,” continued Phelps. “That may or may not be the case but whatever the motivation Cyrus teaching young girls to use a stripper pole will likely have a positive effect that could be felt for generations to come.”

No word yet as to when the pole dancing video will be released.
