NOBODY CARES THAT CHARLIE SHEEN THINKS 9/11 WAS A CONSPIRACY

Los Angeles, CA – There have been many conspiracy theories revolving around the attacks of September 11, 2001, many of which defy logic and in some cases good taste. Everything from a conspiracy involving Zionists to the U.S. Government
demolished the buildings have been roaming around the web for years. Though most of those conspiracies have been readily debunked, the theorists continue to push the idea that something other than the readily accepted events occurred on that day, leaving many frustrated and offended.

Charlie Sheen has now thrown his name into the ring of conspiracy theorists and has even made overtures to President Obama in an effort to explore his theories more completely. Much like the conspiracy theories much of Charlie Sheen’s career has defied logic and good taste. Promising performances in such films as ‘Platoon’ and ‘Wall Street’ eventually led into years of
drug, alcohol, and sex addiction. His limited career since those early days eventually led him to a starring role on the show ‘Two and Half Men’, a program which has become one of the most successful on television much to everyone’s surprise. Sheen’s plea is believed to have little traction with the President or with the public, both of which have little interest in anything he has to say.  

“I should point out that I voted for you, as your promises of hope and change, transparency and accountability, as well as putting government back into the hands of the American people, struck an emotional chord in me that I hadn’t felt in quite some time, perhaps ever,” wrote Sheen in his fictional dialogue with the President. “Mr. President, I implore you based on the evidence you now possess, to use your Executive Power. Prove to us all Sir, that (sic) you do, in fact, care. Create a truly comprehensive and open Congressional investigation of 9/11 and its aftermath. The families deserve the truth, the American people and the rest of the free world deserve the truth.”

Throughout the fictional exchange, Sheen created extensive responses from the President and even added asides similar to stage direction. It’s unclear if Sheen’s belief in a 9/11 conspiracy is a result of the mental disorder which compelled him to write such an odd document or vice versa.

“Charlie Sheen really had it going on in the 80’s. It wasn’t just his works with Oliver Stone that stood out either. In ‘Lucas’ and ‘Young Guns’ he had started to show a real leading man capacity very similar to the quality his father possesses. It was really amazing to see how far that fell off by the times the 90’s rolled around and he started to appear in stuff like ‘Navy Seals’ and ‘Men at Work’. Something must have happened in those intervening two years,” said Scrape TV 9/11 analyst Kevin Kole. “It may be that his drug use caused some kind of break with reality that prohibited him from choosing good scripts which eventually led to this
kind of behaviour. There are no reports of him having had a serious knock to the head but if he did suffer something like that and decided not to seek treatment he could have suffered brain damage, which would explain this odd document and much of ‘Two and Half Men’.”

Sheen is currently on his third marriage. He has had a storied past including shooting fiancée Kelly Preston in the arm, dating former porn star Ginger Lynn Allen, and becoming the biggest client of Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss. It’s also unclear of that behaviour was cause or result of whatever happened to him in the late 80’s.

“Generally speaking the more people believe something is a conspiracy the less likely that is the case. Conspiracies are successful because they are kept quite. In situations where everyone is talking up the possibility of a conspiracy leaks will occur. Because there have been no reasonable leaks the suggestion that 9/11 was
a conspiracy has a lot less credence,” continued Kole. “The real question is whether or not Charlie Sheen’s support of the idea adds or subtracts from the credibility of the theorists. The one advantage that he does bring to the argument is that the type of people who make that show a success are the same kinds of people who will believe just about anything, meaning that he can bring a whole new audience to the mix.”

Reportedly, President Obama had his aides draft a similar styled response to Sheen, though in his case it principally revolved around his decision to accept the lead role in the ‘Hot Shots!’ series.
