VERNE TROYER ORDERED TO STAY AT ARM’S LENGTH FROM EX-GIRLFRIEND

Hollywood, CA – Ever since he made it big starring as the evil henchman Mini-Me, Verne Troyer has embraced the Hollywood lifestyle. Carving out a completely unique niche for himself, Troyer has managed to maintain his huge success in ways no other little
actor has been able to do. It isn’t just the big screen that Troyer has embraced either. In recent years the actor has become notorious for his partying ways, showing up drunk on television, and even producing his own sex tape.
Now Troyer has entered into the mainstream of Hollywood bad boys after his ex-girlfriend, Yvette Monet, had a temporary restraining order taken issued against him. The order states that Troyer has been harassing Monet for months after she ended a relationship the two had, and that the beauty queen fears for her life from the 2ft 8 in actor. Though details of the restraining order were not made public, it’s believed that Troyer must remain at least at arm’s length from Monet. The order expires in December at which point Monet plans to get a hard start on Troyer who will likely have a lot of trouble keeping up with her stride.
“The ‘Bad Boy’ is a tried and true tradition in Hollywood. It’s funny too, many of them end up redeeming themselves in some way down the line. Look at Sean Penn, Robert Downey Jr., and Mickey Rourke and what they’ve been able to do in recent years. They’ve completely overcome their volatile pasts and made themselves into major players. Troyer could do the same thing,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “It’s likely that he won’t ever become as big as Downey and Penn but he has a shot and this restraining order might just be the wakeup call he needs. Everyone has to hit bottom and luckily for Troyer he doesn’t have that far to go so that means he will be able to climb to those heights much sooner.”
Monet has not seen or heard from Troyer since the restraining order was issued but she reportedly believes that if she did see him and had to hold him at arm’s length he would look much like a cartoon character. 
“It’s really not appropriate to make fun of the differently-abled but it is kind of funny that the judge would issue such an odd order. Normally it’s a measurement of distance, miles, feet, etc. but in this case it just seems to be an arbitrary distance. Presumably Monet has long arms which would allow her to keep him getting near her,” continued Temple. “Of course he could start biting her arm or something like that but I guess she could wear some kind of protection. Hopefully though this will have taught him a lesson and he will come away from it humbled and respectful. Someone has to be the bigger person here and for his career it really should be Troyer.”
Troyer was not present at the when the order was issued and has made no comment thus far regarding it.
“In cases like these the judge always needs to take into account the circumstances revolving around it. It’s not a strict black and white thing and so every situation has to be assessed and adjudicated differently. In this case it’s likely that judge believed that Troyer’s fame precluded him from doing anything too severe, hence the arm’s length ruling,” said Scrape TV Crime analyst Willard Weston. “Generally speaking judges don’t assess restrictions based on a person’s physical ability. Such rulings would likely violate a number of hate laws despite potential hilarity, which causes the two things to negate each other.”
