LINDSAY LOHAN WARMING UP TO THE IDEA OF ANOTHER PRISON STINT
March 20 2011
Los Angeles, CA – It has likely come to a point where just about everyone who watches celebrities is sick of Lindsay Lohan. For a decade people have watched Lohan rise through the ranks of child stars as an elite player, and then sink into addictions
and trouble. For a good deal of that time her antics were almost amusing, replacing the talent she utilized onscreen with a kind of real life show, but now after all that clowning and playing, things started to get real, a reality which has started to alienate her supporters.
Now facing a minimum of three months in prison for allegedly stealing a necklace, Lohan has been the poster child for how badly stardom can go. Though she has certainly not succumbed to excess in the way so many before her have, her undignified actions have left a stain even with ardent supporters, leaving her unlikely to ever mount a comeback. Now though it appears that even the actress herself has started to get sick of her own behaviour and is actually starting to warm up to the idea of going back to prison by actively considering a plea deal that will expedite her entrance to the grey bar motel.
“Lindsay for a long time really wanted to avoid going to jail. She was desperately afraid of it in fact but she now feels like that is not really honest, that she only feels that way because she is expected to feel that way and she expects herself to feel that way, if that makes any sense,” said a Lohan insider. “She didn’t want to admit it at first but she really liked her time in prison the first time around. She got to sit around, people made food for her, and she really didn’t have to face things in the same way. It was hard time but she felt like it made her a better person.”
Lohan served 14 days in prison last years for a probation violation.
“She knows that with a trial she stands a chance of going to prison for a much longer
time, which is why she wanted to do it, but that there is also a chance that she could get off which is that last thing she wants. She feels a plea bargain will be her fastest route to getting back into the big house and she is seriously considering taking that route,” continued the insider. “Besides, she can always do something else when she gets out and go right back. She really does feel right now that her best option may be taking that plea deal and getting her butt back in a cell. She really thinks that this will be the best thing for her and a new way to live her life.”
A trial would likely take months and net her a year in prison.
“It’s clear that Lohan isn’t all that well liked outside of prison anymore and so maybe it is the best place for her. I mean she hasn’t killed anyone or done any real tangible harm to anyone but herself but she is giving celebrity watchers a headache. I mean every website you go onto there is another story about her and they are forced to read them, leaving very little room for good will. At least in prison she will be out of the spotlight,” said Scrape TV Entertainment analyst Tracey Temple. “One also has to look at financial motivations. She hasn’t worked in a long time and so it could very well be that she’s looking to cut down her spending for a little while, hoping maybe that will help her get back on track. Of course this could all be an elaborate plan to restore the old women in prison movie genre, she could just be doing research. That would certainly help restore a lot of affection for her, people love those movies.”
Sybil Danning is reportedly a recent addition to Lohan’s legal team.
