FRITZL CASE SPARKS GLOBAL INCESTUOUS EMBRACE

March 24 2009

Bucharest, Romania- The Josef Fritzl case shocked and appalled Europe and the world. With the case now concluded and Fritzl set to remain in prison the rest of his life the cellar dwelling octodad can rest easy knowing that his case has inspired love across the continent. Romania is reportedly joining France, Spain, and Portugal in
Christopher lee dracula decriminalizing incest. While it comes as a surprise to many that the western European nations have allowed the taboo act amongst consenting adults for years, in the case of Romania many are surprised that the country has need to change their laws.

The proposed change to Romanian law would allow adults over the age of 18 to engage in sexual conduct and even marry no matter their blood relation. It is a part of a broad sweeping set of reforms for the emerging country that is trying to bring its legal system more into line with that of its European Union allies. Other laws on the books up for review are the decriminalization of forced blood drinking, stalking underage gymnasts, and an end to government sanctioned gypsy hunting.borat gstring gypsies

“The most surprising thing about decriminalizing incest in Romania is the idea that it was ever illegal. I think most people believe incest is a very common thing in most of the former Soviet republics, on par with cannibalism and burning witches. That may be an unfair characterization of the country and the people but that is how many people think,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “This will of course do nothing to change that view because of course they are officially sanctioning the act. It’s one thing to want to be more in line with more sophisticated countries, but it’s another entirely to embrace expectations, especially when they involve having sex with family members.”

Romania has long been a lynchpin for conflict in Eastern Europe. From its occupation by the Romans (from which it derived its name) to communist rule and the iron fist of Nicolae Ceauşescu, Nicolae Ceausescu dead the tiny country and its people have endured untold turmoil and been the butt of many jokes throughout the remainder of the continent.

“I mean even the Polish make Romanian jokes and this just opens them up to even more teasing. You can have playful teasing amongst friends but in the case of Romania it appears playful on the surface but is actually really cruel because they just aren’t in on the joke. Other countries can be so cruel,” continued Hander. “One also has to wonder what the motivation for this really is. Are they genuinely looking to reform laws that haven’t been touched in centuries or are they just trying to ride the Fritzl wave? Once brothers and sisters start having sex with impunity I’ll believe it.”Paris Hilton and Nikki Hilton

Tolerance of incest amongst consenting adults has long been a debated issue in the western world. Seen as a profound moral and religious taboo, the act has come into the spotlight of late as a result of high profile cases in the United States and the United Kingdom.

“The general argument is the risk of birth abnormalities but the reality is the occurrence of those defects is very rare even in offspring derived from two people immediately related. There is nothing intrinsic in the nature of incest that causes these abnormalities, it is the happenstance of two parents carrying the same gene and passing it down to the child that is the issue.
Ugly man Obviously because of shared genetics the likelihood of that is increased amongst family members, but only slightly,” said Scrape TV Medical analyst Dr. Phillip Waites. “In the case of Romania though legalizing the act might be beneficial in the long term. For one, very few people care about mutant Romanian babies. Two, the country needs to continue to grow its population and no one else is willing to have sex with them, generally speaking. Encouraging family love might be the best thing for the country long term.”

A rough poll of people on the street indicated that most in the country were in favour of the law change, confirming everyone’s expectations and opening the country up to a whole new tier of jokes.
