RACIST COUNTRIES WALK OUT ON RACIST AHMADINEJAD SPEECH

Geneva, Switzerland – It doesn’t take a whole lot of effort for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to irritate other countries. From fiery diatribes to continued nuclear sabre rattling the Iranian leader has perfected to art of annoyance like few before him. That aplomb for provocation was on full display during the U.N. anti-racism conference when Ahmadinejad inspired such irritation that a number of delegates from mostly
European countries staged a walkout just as his speech was just getting started., leaving them to miss most of the best parts.

A number of countries including The United States had boycotted the conference in anticipation of such a speech but the departure of the European envoys came as an unexpected event. Though all were reportedly given an agenda with a list of the speakers, all delegates initially attended the meeting with, perhaps, hope that the Iranian leader would strike a different tone. Though the motivation for the walk out may be in dispute, one thing was clear; they didn’t want to listen to the Iranian.

“The real shame in the walkout is that they left before the good parts. I mean
everyone knew he was going to go one about Israel but at first blush they just up and left. That’s like leaving a movie before the turn. Things may have been bad up until that point but until the movie turns, you don’t know how it’s going to progress,” said Scrape TV Racism analyst Drake Douglas. “The funny thing about the whole situation is excepting the Spanish, every other country is primarily white. There’s little doubt that most people are just sick of Ahmadinejad’s rants but the coincidence is a little suspect.”

Ahmadinejad’s speech got off to a promising start with an uncharacteristic display of humour in the body of clowns running through the auditorium. Though outlawed in Iran, the appearance of the rainbow-haired buffoons brought a smile to the face of the Iranian leader as well as those who only moments later would show such partisan prejudice.

“It’s hard to say whether European countries hate Iranians because of Ahmadinejad or hate Ahmadinejad and as a result hate Iranians. It’s the old chicken and the egg kind of debate and it’s really upsetting that experienced and professional diplomats couldn’t put aside their prejudices, especially at an anti-racism conference. Apparently irony is something that eludes Europeans,” continued Douglas. “You can’t help but think that this was a kind of pre-planned thing. It would be pretty bad if they were unable to read an agenda. Most of these kinds of
conferences have some kind of plan which is then sent to the attendees. Things like coffee breaks, speakers, lunch, normal conference things. Maybe they were so blinded with racist rage they were unable to read properly.”

For his part, Ahmadinejad did not disappoint those who stayed for the show. Railing against Israel, the Iranian leader drew applause from the remaining audience who reportedly harboured the same level of prejudice towards Jews that he himself enjoys.

“The massive display of hatred from both sides was quite impressive, especially for a conference seeking an end to prejudice and hate. Rarely do professional conferences like this end up with so much vitriol on all sides but perhaps all it takes is good intentions to turn people so bad,” continued Douglas. “They are after all politicians and no matter what country they come from and no matter which race, religion, or ethnicity they hold seething hatred towards, politicians are politicians. Like the best of bigotry, the apple usually doesn’t fall far from the tree no matter where you’re from.”

Reportedly all delegates were sent fresh copies of the agenda after the walkout, as well as dictionary definitions for the words ‘Anti’, ‘racism’, and ‘conference’ in all respective languages.
