U.S. HEALTH OFFICIALS ISSUE WARNING OVER DEADLY NEW VIRUS THEY CAN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT
March 8 2013
Atlanta, GA – The Earth is a dangerous place, at times, for those who want to live. The Earth has all kinds of mechanisms in place to deal with the many species we have, to manage them, to huddle them, and to destroy them if necessary, something it has done over and over again throughout history.
Human beings, in all our cleverness, have managed to get through most of those assaults. We have created defences and even offences in order to deal with the many things afflicting us. Thus far, simply by the actuality of our continued existence, that has worked, clearly.
There is always the threat, though, lurking in the shadows. The notion that there is something out there, whether something as big as a comet or as small as a microbe, just waiting out there to destroy us, is not fiction. There is something out there that could very well end all of humanity and everything we have built, in fact there are many things, and it is possible that we have found it with a new deadly disease currently spreading around the globe.
“From April 2012 to March 2013, a total of 14 people from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Kingdom were confirmed to have an infection caused by the novel coronavirus,” said the CDC.
At least 8 of those 14 people have died as a direct result of the disease which is quite high for these types of ailments.
The new disease is relative of SARS which killed a bunch of people a few years back and spreads real, real easy so it’s entirely possible that many people will die before this thing is through with us.
“This is certainly not the best thing to have happened to humanity. I would personally say that is fire, but there are many other things that could take that role, as the best thing to happen to humanity. Bread is pretty good too, and orange cranberry muffins. Those things are pretty great,” said Scrape TV Health analyst Rebecca Phelps. “This is not like any of those things, not even close to be honest. This is like the opposite of orange cranberry muffins, like the anti- orange cranberry muffin, with way more death. Like way more, so much death in fact that it’s probably right off the muffin chart. It’s not even really like raisin bran muffins, it’s in a category unto itself.
Despite the potential serious nature of the disease, and no treatment whatsoever, no one has advised not travelling to the afflicted countries.
“The best thing for everyone would of course be for this disease to go away. I mean that is the case with all diseases of course. I can’t think of a single disease that wouldn’t be better gone than here. It’s almost always better to have diseases that can kill thousands to just go away and not do anything to us, things are better without mass death, generally,” continued Phelps. “However that’s not the way the world works. People die and people get sick and that’s just something we need to deal with, that we need to live with, those of us who survive obviously. The world is a harsh place and sometimes it’s not always orange cranberry muffins, as terrible as that is.”
It’s not clear if anyone is working on a cure or even treatment for the disease.
