The final, un-aired episode of television series ‘Murder, She Wrote’,
starring Angela Lansbury as crime-solving novelist Jessica Fletcher,
featured a storyline in which Jessica was exposed as a serial killer who had
murdered some 314 people over the previous ten seasons, framing hundreds of
innocent parties in the process.

Did you know?
When Dustin Hoffman’s character Thomas Levy was fleeing for his life in the
film ‘Marathon Man’, the method actor convinced himself so compellingly that
he had to keep running that he didn’t stop until two years after film’s
release. The epic run inspired the later movie Forrest Gump, directed by
Robert Zemeckis. To date, Hoffman has yet to receive one cent of royalties
from the later film.

Did you know?
Due to a number of unfortunate clerical errors, the golfer Jack Nicklaus has
been paid substantial sums of money for work performed by the actor Jack
Nicholson on the movies ‘The Shining’ and ‘As Good as It Gets’. Legal
proceedings have resulted, with Nicklaus securing Nicholson’s Best Actor
Oscar for the latter film and acquiring a succession of much younger female
companions.
