RAPEY LOOKING WIKILEAKS FOUNDER CLEARED OF RAPE CHARGES

Stockholm, Sweden – Secrets are a part of human culture. Some would argue that secrets are in fact a fundamental part of the human experience, both in the keeping of them and in the uncovering of them. That vast majority of secrets are of course personal, whose dating who and the like, but some secrets are much bigger and much more important than such trifling concerns. Many of those deep secrets are held not by individuals but by governments and corporations and are often the bread and butter behind their survival.

BLOCKBUSTER BANKRUPTCY SWEET REVENGE FOR APPLE AND NETFLIX

Dallas, TX – In the early days of home entertainment everyone got in on the game. Small Mom and Pop stores helped fuel the early adoption of video which helped bring incredible prosperity to the movie studios. For more than a decade and half that balance had been equitable to both sides but by the mid-1990’s things had changed. Along with the introduction of DVD, many of those smaller stores started to fade out, faced with the expense of turning over inventory and most notably faced with the behemoth of video mega-chains, the biggest of which was Blockbuster.

EXPLODING OIL RIGS STILL ALL THE RAGE IN THE GULF

Venice, LA – There was a time when people though that the oil flowing from the BP well disaster would never stop, but it did. Eventually the company, after trying all sorts of things to stop the flow, was able to cap the well and stop the crude from flowing into the ocean and though it will still take years before a full environmental analysis is complete, it appears that the region got off easy. There was no disaster like when the Exxon Valdez ran aground, there was no environmental cataclysm.

RELIGION OF PAUL RUDD HAVING TROUBLE FINDING ACCEPTANCE

Los Angeles, CA – All religions have had trouble first being accepted. Christianity, the largest religion ever, was spread by groups of vagrants forced out of their homes. Islam, the number two religion, had to suffer literal slings and arrows in its early days. Throughout history all religions and sects have had trouble gaining ground, gaining acceptance amongst the masses and while a few have been able to succeed, far more have fallen by the wayside with their followers ostracized and persecuted.

DISCOVERY CHANNEL CAMERAS ON SCENE FOR DEADLY HOSTAGE TAKING

Silver Spring, MD – Armed with a handgun a radical environmentalist walked into the Maryland headquarters for the Discovery Channel and held employees hostage. For four tense hours, police and James Jay Lee were at a standstill while three hostages laid in the balance. Ultimately police shot Lee, he died in hospital later, and freed the hostages. New information suggests that the Lee, who ran a website espousing radical environmental policies, may have been carrying explosive devices but was disarmed before detonating them. Discovery channel cameras were on site the entire time.
