SQUEAKY FROMME SEEN SKULKING AROUND THE WHITE HOUSE

Washington, D.C. – The Manson murders still stand as one of the most horrific and popular crimes in the annals of American history. Though far from the greatest body count ever recorded, the Manson murders have gripped the public imagination like no
other, save the 9/11 attacks, in history. Because of that even forty years after the killings public fascination with the events of those two fateful days in August has remained foremost in the minds of the public, even for generations born well after the events.

It is with that fascination and public interest that former Manson family member Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme was released from a Fort Worth prison. Though not a part of the Helter Skelter murders herself, Fromme was imprisoned in 1975 following an attempt to murder President Gerald Ford. Considered a model prisoner during recent years, Fromme was granted parole last year and after serving extra time for an escape attempt was released last week. Now though various sources have indicated that they have spotted the former family member in the Washington, D.C. area reportedly spending a great deal of time near the White House. Though police have yet to spot her in the area they are reportedly taking the possibility very seriously.

“We have no current information as to where Ms. Fromme may or may not be. We have been in touch with Texas prison officials and are taking the possibility of her presence in the area very seriously though we believe there is very little in the way of a real threat against the President’s life,” said a police spokesperson. “We have also been in touch with the Secret Service. While we are moderately concerned and want to make sure that people aren’t loitering in and around the White House we also want to be sure that we are respecting people’s rights. Rest assured, the President is safe.”

Texas prison officials declined to give an exact location for Fromme but did assure us that she was still in the state. Nonetheless, reports continue to circulate around the city and many fear that the paranoia may do more damage than her actual presence.

“People do need to realize that she will look nothing like she did in 1975. It’s also very
unlikely that she will be parading around in a habit like she was when she assaulted Ford. If nothing else, that would be a little too obvious. The real risk here isn’t Fromme but its people’s reactions to her. If we begin to see a rise in attacks on Nun’s then there will be a real problem,” said Scrape TV Crime analyst Willard Weston. “No one wants to see the President assassinated, even the Texans. If nothing else her killing President Obama would be an indictment of the entire Texas prison system. Whether or not they like the President Texans are very proud people and they wouldn’t want to see one of their own going so far astray, that’s for sure.”

There have been no reports thus far of attacks on nuns throughout the city though police officials have recommended that they stay away from the area in and around the White House in order to avoid any possible issues.

“In America it’s likely none of the former Manson family members will ever be able to totally redeem themselves. That crime set a standard and shook the entire country like never before. One could argue that excepting the successful Presidential assassinations and Pearl Harbor there was no incident quite as powerful as those murders,” continued Weston. “While it’s true she was not a part of them she is associated so she is coloured with the same brush. Hopefully Nuns across the country won’t suffer a similar fate.”

President Obama has reportedly had a fear of Nuns since his youth, further amplifying the concern.
