Laredo, TX – Mexican soldiers have crossed the border in Texas in what may be the first stage of a massive invasion of the United States by Mexico. Government officials have yet to confirm the action, but have confirmed that they are looking into the situation and that if any border violations have occurred, U.S. soldiers will respond in kind. Mexican government officials had no comment.

Monterrey, Mexico – The ongoing drug war in Mexico has reached new heights in recent weeks with the conflict breaking wide open into the public. In one event, the bodies of two men were hung over the side of a bridge, and in another a series of heavily armoured homemade tanks were seen rolling around the nation’s capital. Reports from some northern cities indicate that one gang is even constructing a ‘Thunderdome’, similar to the one seen in the ‘Mad Max’ films, though government officials have denied this is the case.

Washington, D.C. – After a series of tense days, Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu have finally sat down to discuss specifics of potential future for the Middle East. The meeting comes in the wake of comments from the American President urging Israel to return to the 1967 border with the Palestinian territories, something he has vehemently oppose. However, insider indicate that the PM may be willing to consider such an option if Obama were also willing to go back to the 1845 border with Mexico, which would cede control of Texas and parts of Kansas and New Mexico to her southern neighbour.
