FANS REMEMBER MARVIN HAMLISCH THE WAY HE WAS BEFORE DEATH

August 7 2012

Los Angeles, CALegendary film composer Marvin Hamlisch has died at the age of 68. Hamlisch best known for composing the soundtracks for a string of hit films, most notably the syrupy tune ‘The Way We Were’ from the films of the same name. Hamlisch won three Oscars for his work in film as well as a host of other awards during his lengthy career. It’s not clear if the composer had time to compose the song which will carry him to his final resting place and if so if it will be as beloved and acclaimed as his other works.
