PUTIN SENDS PUSSY RIOT TO JAIL FOR DARING TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST HIM
August 17 2012
Moscow, Russia – Perhaps one of the most controversial trials in modern Russian history has ended with a conviction. Three women from the punk band ‘Pussy Riot’ have been convicted of hooliganism, a charge which was largely made up to attack them, and sentenced to two years in jail after they protested against President Vladimir Putin in a church for forty seconds. Putin is said to be pleased with the outcome and has made it clear to everyone that whoever protests the sentence will also be up for charges and so they’d better shut their mouths right now.
