TAINTED BUT DELICIOUS PICKLES KILL SIX IN JAPAN

Tokyo, Japan – 100 people are sick and six are dead after eating what appears to be tainted pickles or pickled cabbage or something pickled. One of the dead is a child of four. Authorities have asked that people in the affected region, Hokkaido, stop eating anything pickled while they investigate the source of the illness. It’s not clear how many people have responded to that request because people in Japan really like their pickled foods. I mean heck who doesn’t really. Sometimes, sometimes, pickles may even be worth risking death. It’s not clear how delicious these particular death pickles were and now we will never know.
