ALY RAISMAN CRIES FOUL AFTER RUSSIAN BEATS HER FOR BRONZE FAIR AND SQUARE
August 3 2012
London, U.K - Another day at the Olympics, another controversy. This time though the debate isn’t over drugs or cheating but over the rules everyone agreed to before entering the Olympics. This time the centre of the controversy is American Aly Raisman who blew her routines and ended up in a tie for the bronze with Russia Aliya Mustafina, a tie the American lost because of the rules which are very clearly spelled out, even written down and everything. It’s believed that had she lost, the Russian would have accepted it with grace but Raisman, who was considered a medal favourite before the Games, wasn’t so pleasant.
