BLUE JAYS STAR ESCOBAR VERY SORRY FOR HATING GAY PEOPLE

September 19 2012

Toronto, Canada – Yunel Escobar will have time to think about what he’s done, three days in fact, even after issuing an apology for a gay slur he wore on his face during a game earlier this week. Escobar apologized for the offence, largely because he got in trouble for it, and says he is really, really sorry that he just doesn’t like gay people and likes to make fun of them. It’s just the way he was born, Escobar believes, and he shouldn’t be punished for that and called names. Nonetheless, Escobar has been suspended for three games and called very bad things.
