KANSAS CITY CHIEFS PAYING FOR JOVAN BELCHER’S FUNERAL BUT ONLY KIND OF HELP THE WOMAN HE KILLED
December 7 2012
Kansas City, KS – Following the shocking and truly damaging murder-suicide committed by player Jovan Belcher last week, the Kansas City Chiefs are pitching in. The team will pay for a memorial service and the funeral for Belcher and has offered, as yet unspecified financial aid to the family of Kasandra Perkins, the girl he murdered. According to some reports the Chiefs has offered to pay for Perkins funeral, albeit with limitations because she wasn’t a player after all. They need to look after their own first and the Chiefs really only have so much money.
