JENNA JAMESON TO STAR IN NEW WII TITLE

Chicago, IL – Playboy enterprises has announced plans to break into the casual gaming market with a new title revolving around the infamous “Queen of Porn”. Distributed under the “Club Jenna” banner, the title will be produced internally under Playboy’s new in house production team “Waggle”
“We at Playboy enterprises are extremely excited to be entering into this realm of entertainment. We feel that the Wii is the perfect platform to showcase our brand of entertainment to a mainstream audience,” said the company in a press release. “Jenna Jameson is the biggest adult star in the world, Nintendo is the biggest videogame company in the world and it seems only right that these two legendary forces join together to create what will be an exciting and groundbreaking product.”
While no details on the content of the title have been released the company has promised that the game will integrate the full functionality of the Wii remote, as well as the recently announced motion plus attachment. The company also indicated that the title will be four player compatible and hinted that there may also be some integration of the Wii balance board. The games will also use a unique “one handed save anytime” feature.
Jameson herself is equally excited about the project. “I’ll admit that I’m not much of a gamer myself, but I do love gamers just like all my fans. This gives me an opportunity to reach out to those fans in a totally new and unique way and allows my fans the chance to interact with me in a totally new way.”
The star also elaborated on the creative process, “I am one hundred per cent involved in the production of the game, just as I am with all Club Jenna productions. I’ve been helped develop the story and we’ve been using motion capture to make the experience as realistic as possible. I think fans and non fans alike are going to be thrilled with this game.”
With the E3 announcement of a Grand Theft Auto title for the DS and last year’s Manhunt 2 for the Wii, Nintendo has apparently redoubled their efforts to remake their image from family friendly into a company able and willing to make games for all players young and old.
“Yes the game will likely be rated mature,” said Lauren Melone, PR representative for Playboy enterprises. “We are attempting to give the player the most Jenna experience we possibly can so we can’t shy away from that rating. While that may limit the number of people who are able to purchase the title, we feel that it may also serve to open up the market for a whole new group of casual gamers, those who have been stuck in front of the TV with nothing to do with their hands.”
The as yet untitled game is scheduled for release this fall.
